Hello!

We respect and admire your courage and love in considering open adoption for your baby. We hope this page will give you a glimpse into our lives and our commitment to growing our family through open adoption. Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have along the way. We look forward to getting to know you and wish you peace with your journey. ABOUT US: We have been together for five wonderful years. Our amazing relationship is built on love, appreciation, open communication, and complete trust. We nourish our relationship by spending quality time together whether it’s walking our dog, playing tennis, or snuggling on the couch watching a movie. We have a great time together no matter what we’re doing! We lead an active lifestyle and love playing tennis year-round. We are on the courts several days each week, playing various league matches, taking lessons, or just hitting with friends. We can't wait to hear our child's laughter as he or she learns to serve his or her first ace! We also enjoy trying great new restaurants, listening to music on the Decatur Square or entertaining friends at home. We love our Atlanta Braves and can't wait to hear our child singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at Turner Field! We always make a point of having dinner together. It’s our time to listen to each other and share our thoughts on life. We can’t wait to do this as a family with our child. After spending a long day enjoying the city, we both enjoy reading in the evenings to unwind before bed. We look forward to reading to our child at bedtime and already have some favorites waiting including “Goodnight Moon”, “The Tales of Peter Rabbit”, and “Corduroy”. We look forward to every stage of parenthood including birthday parties, holidays, play dates, bedtime stories, and all the magical moments in between.

Jackie, by Sharon

From the moment I met her, Jackie captivated me with her beautiful smile, intelligence, and awesome sense of humor. She loves her family and is excited about becoming a mother. Jackie has personal experience with adoption as her father adopted her at age six. She will make sure our child knows and understands his or her adoption story. Children gravitate toward Jackie and she has an amazing ability to connect with them whether they are babies or teenagers. Jackie works in the financial services industry and is lucky to have the flexibility to work from home several days a week. She will be able to be there to hear our child's first words, watch our child's first steps, and bandage our child’s first scraped knee. I can't wait to raise our child with her!

Sharon, by Jackie

Sharon is the most amazing person I have ever known. She is intelligent, optimistic, honest, athletic, and funny. She makes me laugh each and every day. Sharon has worked for the State of Georgia for the past ten years managing various state properties. She has a flexible schedule and is looking forward to attending PTA meetings and helping in our child’s classroom. She is kind, positive, and supportive of our nine nieces and nephews. They love spending time with Aunt Sharon because she is always willing to play anything from video games to kickball. Sharon’s love for me and her commitment to our relationship and to building our family is unwavering. I could not have found a better partner. I know she will be a great mom because of her natural ability to nurture and comfort.

Our Home and Dog

We live in diverse and friendly Atlanta, Georgia. Our neighborhood, LaVista Park, has wonderful schools, beautiful parks and convenient shopping nearby. Though it is in the heart of the city, our neighborhood has lots of trees and plenty of peace and quiet! The neighborhood park across the street has a great playground where we would love to take our child so he or she can play with other children and make new friends. Our cozy home is on a cul-de-sac and we look forward to watching our child riding his or her bike up and down the street. We have access to lots of kid friendly attractions such as the Yellow River Game Ranch, the Georgia Aquarium, the Center for Puppetry Arts, and the Imagine It! Children’s Museum of Atlanta. We can’t wait to introduce our child to the parakeets at Zoo Atlanta! Gracie is our 10-year-old Maltese. She loves napping in the sun and always expects to tag along with us in any puppy-friendly activity we might do. She’s a great pet and an important part of our family. Gracie loves kids and is gentle and safe around them. She is probably the most spoiled, and definitely the most fashionably dressed, dog in the neighborhood. She knows many tricks and loves the attention she gets when performing them. She really loves to work a crowd and she’s always the “belle of the ball” wherever we take her!
