About Us

We met 14-years ago while we were in college, and got married a couple years after we graduated. We love spending time together whether it’s hiking up a mountain or going to our college football games. Our relationship is based on unconditional love, respect for one another, and a sense of humor. We believe it is important to balance hard work with fun and we always kiss each other good night. We look forward to hearing “mommy and daddy” and being able to pass on our unconditional love to our child. We will raise our child in a supportive and loving home with opportunities to grow and succeed in every part of life.

Careers

Suzi is a Registered Nurse and David works in television. David works only in the afternoons, so he looks forward to spending mornings with our child. He is excited to take our child to story time at the bookstore, or to visit our local park where our child can run and play. The hospital where Suzi works has onsite daycare, and she will enjoy spending lunch time each day with our child.

Interests & Hobbies

Together we enjoy hiking during which Dave likes to bring his camera and Suzi likes to letterbox. Letterboxing is a fun mix of treasure hunting, art, and navigation. We are also looking forward to taking our child to the local miniature golf courses and teaching them how to play.

Our Community and Home

We live in Acworth, Georgia, which is a suburb of Atlanta. Acworth offers a small town feel with the added benefit of having access to the big city. In Acworth we look forward to taking our child to the local farmers market, and area festivals. We can’t wait to take our child to Acworth’s annual Halloween carnival to pick out the perfect pumpkin! Since we are close to Atlanta we are also looking forward to sharing with our child the Georgia Aquarium, Fernbank Museum, and the High Gallery of Art. Dave is excited to share his love of sports by taking our child to the many sporting events in the Atlanta area. There are also fun attractions that we look forward to visiting with our child including The Atlanta Zoo and the Atlanta Center of Puppetry Arts. Our home is located in a close-knit community with lots of families and children. Our child will enjoy spending time watching golfer’s putt for par on our back deck. They will fall asleep to the sound of crickets and awake to the singing of birds in our back yard. We look forward to watching our child catch lightning bugs on warm summer nights.
