Hello from Los Gatos, California!

Hi! We are Channing and Mary. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We have been married for over 20 years and can't wait to become a family! Los Gatos is a very family friendly town. It's what drew us to want to live here. We look forward to enjoying the parades, music in the park, walking downtown, storybook time at the library, or playing on the lawn in front of the Los Gatos High School as a family. As a couple, we enjoy outside activities such as running and hiking. Channing enjoys mountain biking, and Mary ballet. However, we also like being at home together. We imagine that this may be an overwhelming time in your life filled with many decisions to make for you and your baby. Please know that we are thinking of you. Channing by Mary

Channing is full of joy and enthusiasm! Children love him! Any child who is fussy during a baptism calms right down once Channing holds them. He is also very playful and children respond very well to him. He is incredibly loving, forgiving and selfless. He has lots of energy and knows how to take advantage of it! Channing loves adventure and is always on the lookout for where he can make something fun. He is a runner, rock climber and he enjoys fly fishing with his brothers. Channing is the oldest of three boys and grew up in the friendly Midwest. Channing is an optimist and can always come up with the bright side of any situation. Channing enjoys helping others. I admire his drive and ambition. He has a wonderful heart. I feel very blessed to have Channing in my life and know that our child will feel the same way.

Mary by Channing

I admire Mary’s spirit! She is full of life, deeply caring and is able to calmly help guide people who are going through a crisis or transition. It will make her an excellent parent! She is the youngest of three children and she loves all of her nieces and nephews. I love Mary’s balance between being insightful and being playful. Her oldest niece most recently read all the Twilight books, so Mary read all of them too. When her nephew visited us this summer, the two of them enjoyed dancing repeatedly to the Gummy Bear’s song. Yes, we actually have it on video! I can see her dancing around the house with our child making up fun songs. Sharing my life with Mary has been the greatest gift. It will make me tremendously happy to raise our son or daughter with her and to see Mary become a loving mother to our child.

About us

We have been together for 20 years, which has allowed us the chance to grow up together! We were lucky to have each other’s support as we developed our careers. Mary is a psychotherapist, and Channing is the Rector of Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church in Saratoga, Ca. Saint Andrew's is an open and inclusive community where all are welcome. We met while Channing was in Seminary in New York City. It’s a funny story that we’d love to share with you! Our lives have taken us from New York City to Cincinnati, and now to the San Francisco Bay area. We have lived in the Bay Area for 14 years.
