Our Story

Our relationship began twelve years ago with pizza and a movie. We knew right away that we were meant to be together. A year later, we celebrated our anniversary with a commitment ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Each year we renew that commitment not only to ourselves but also with our loved ones. Our relationship is based on trust, unconditional love and a strong sense of family. We’re so excited about building our family, passing on our many family traditions and sharing that same love and commitment with our child.

Curtis about Will

The first thing I noticed about Will was his twinkling hazel eyes and I fell in love with him the first day we met. He has given me so much unconditional love and support. I can honestly say that he has helped me grow as a person and a spouse. Will gives me a center and a love to return home to every day. Will is a kid at heart and this will make him a great dad!

Will about Curtis

Curtis has a great smile! It’s warm and inviting and makes other people smile when he walks into a room. Curtis is the kind of guy that everyone wants to know and be friends with. He is loyal, funny, passionate and kind. Curtis will be an amazing daddy because that’s what he was born to be!

Our Careers

Curtis is a pharmacist at a local children’s hospital. He’s a natural caregiver and finds great personal fulfillment in taking care of children. Curtis’ greatest joy comes from the laughter and smiles he gets from the children he works with every day. Will is the Executive Director of a local community center where he directs life-changing services for at-risk youth and many others in the Memphis community. Our careers offer us flexible schedules and we look forward to school field trips or hiking through the woods for a family picnic.
