About Marisa, by Imran

Marisa is an amazing woman. Whenever someone needs a hand, Marisa is there for them without them having to ask. She is generous, incredibly warm, and fun-loving. Marisa works for a travel company and we've been able to take many memorable trips together because of her work. She celebrates every holiday to the max so our home is always decked out. She loves kids and is nurturing, patient, and caring. Marisa's hand is the first one that our nephew reaches for when he needs reassurance and she is able to comfort him quickly when he needs to be soothed. When I watch her spending time with our nephew, it is absolutely clear to me that she will be a fantastic mom.

About Imran, by Marisa

Imran is unlike anyone I’ve ever met before. He is giving, thoughtful, loving, honest, fun to be around and treats me with the utmost care and respect. He is always striving to better himself. If he says that he will do something, you can count on it being taken care of. He is an amazing person and I feel very lucky to have him in my life. I can already tell that he will be a gentle and loving dad by watching him play, comfort, and read to our nephew, Kameran. Our new child and he will make an incredible and fun team. Imran is an elementary school teacher. It gives him great joy to help kids learn and there is nothing else in the world that he'd rather do. The summers off will definitely mean some extended family trips together!

Our Promise To You

Adoption is not new to us. Marisa was first introduced to open adoption when she was a teenager and a close friend chose to place her daughter in an open adoption. To this day she remembers her friend's courage and selfless love. There has never been any question that open adoption was right for us. We will never forget the love you have in your heart for your child and will always keep the lines of communication open with you and your family. We promise that you'll always have an important place in our heart and will always welcome a lifelong relationship.
