Foothill Ranch, CA

Hello! We live in a family-oriented neighborhood in Southern California and have been dreaming for years of becoming parents. We admire your courage in considering option adoption for your baby. We would love to get to know you and your dreams for your baby, and building a special, ongoing bond with you through open adoption. We feel we have much to offer a child – a nurturing and stable environment, a comfortable home, and unconditional love.

About Us

We met and fell in love in 2005. We were fortunate enough to find each other through an internet dating site. After only a few months we knew that we had found soul mates in each other, and were married in 2008. We are constantly saying how lucky we feel to have found the other. We know other couples that have become parents through adoption – and we knew that this was the way to make our dream of parenting come true. Chris runs a small, growing web business from home that focuses on selling products to people with disabilities. Christine is Vice President for the Operations department of a marketing company. We have also been active volunteers and fundraisers for the Arthritis Foundation for several years. Between the two of us we have a wide variety of interests, including watching and attending sports events (football, baseball, tennis, Formula 1 racing), music, cooking, baking, reading, exercising, traveling, and volunteering. We have traveled to places like France, Switzerland, Italy, and several cities around the U.S. We’re planning to make a trip to Europe and Australia to introduce our child to the extended family. We are excited to share all of these interests with our child. We know that we’ll get to discover many more interests with our child, and can’t wait to see if that will include attending piano recitals, going to little league games, attending science fairs – or maybe all of the above!

About Christine (by Chris)

Christine is a very loving, giving and patient person. She has a natural motherly instinct, and loves being around kids. She has been very close to her nephew Tanner since he was born, and frequently took him to Disneyland, baseball games and Chuck E. Cheese. Even now that he is a teenager it’s clear how much Tanner loves his aunt. Christine has been close to the children of our friends and has babysat them often. I’m amazed that she knows nearly all the Wiggles and Little Einsteins songs, and knows each child so well she always picks out the perfect birthday or Christmas gift! Christine loves baseball and can’t wait to take our child to Dodger games. Christine is famous among friends and family for her delicious baked goods. She is an avid reader, and especially loves old classics and historical fiction. She also enjoys photography and putting together scrapbooks. Her special adoption story scrapbook is just waiting to be filled with pictures and special memories of our child and you!

About Chris (by Christine)

Chris is sincere, generous, smart, and has an incredible work ethic. He loves anything having to do with cars, and is dreaming of taking our child to the toy store to pick out cars and racing sets to play with (he’s already eyeing a Barbie car if it’s a girl). He’s very handy with tools, and has taken on several projects around the house like installing cabinets in the garage. He loves to cook (making dinner almost every night!) and he is looking forward to introducing our child to the world of food and cooking. When Chris is around our godchildren, he completely lights up – and loves making them giggle. I know with his loving heart he is going to make a great father.

Our Home

We own a home in Foothill Ranch, which is a small community in Southern California about one hour south of Los Angeles in Orange County. We love the fact that we are close to the beach, the mountains and attractions like Disneyland, museums and theaters. Our house is within walking distance of a huge neighborhood park as well as a wildlife preserve. Our street is filled with families and children – on most days you can see groups of kids riding bikes, skateboarding, or playing ball. We occasionally have neighborhood get-togethers such as block parties.
