You state that at IAC adoption costs range from $20,00-28,000 and this includes every possible cost. Does this include homestudy fees and legal representation for the adoptive family?

For a list of other possible expenses see: http://www.adoptionhelp.org/adoption-fees-in#fees

According to both these links your adoption could cost as low as $20,000 and as high as $40,000 (if you are in the highest income bracket and your child is born in a state where IAC is not licensed).

The average family who lives in CA, CT, TX, GA, NC or NY spends $25,000.

If you do not live in California, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Connecticut, or New York our fees are less because it does not cover home study, post-placement and the ICPC for the state you live in. Here is a link explaining the services our fees cover: http://www.adoptionhelp.org/adoption-fees-out#fees

You can look at the following link for our fees, which are on a sliding scale by your gross income: http://www.adoptionhelp.org/adoption-fees-out
